Torr Skoog

from Reality Alley by Kevin Stevenson

/

about

This song is about a great friend of mine, Torr Skoog. The first verse is about when I first met Torr: a 16-year-old runaway with track marks on his arms. Believe it or not, I was the one who convinced Torr to sing! Before Torr died, I was searching for Torr for a year trying to ask him to start a band with me. If I had found him, I have a funny feeling he wouldn't have ended his life. Anyone who knew Torr knows that when Torr had a new project, he would dive into it head first. Torr ended his life by jumping off of a bridge in Vermont. I'll never forgive that son of a bitch.
